Kick up your heels

I had a great dinner last night with Matt and Frank and am looking forward to connecting with them again on Saturday. Denver just keeps looking better and better. Matt shared this and I had to pass it along:

If anyone is planning one of those cool public dance/crowd art events...call me! I'm your gal. It's one of those things I have to do sometime in my life.

Also, have you seen the previews of the Where the Wild Things Are movie?

Beautiful. Judging from their use of Arcade Fire's Wake Up for the clip, the soundtrack sounds like it will be pretty great, too.

That video is incredible! And what a brilliant choice of music! Such a joyful song. It's impossible to not smile as you're listening. I wish real life were like this every day!

Oh, I love those improv musical numbers! You are the one who first introduced me to them, and this one did not disappoint!

And, I am SO EXCITED by the Wild Things movie. I hadn't even heard they were doing that one. I love when they take great children's books and make them into movies.

i get giddy when i see you've posted video clips.
how can that be improv? clearly it was well-choreographed. i'm confused. so many questions, so little comment space. who were those people? what was going on? i need explanations, i need closure. how did that happen?

i did not know about the wild things movie. i feel happy just seeing the clip. looks like a big winner.

Those improv things are hilarious. I believe I did see my first one of these on your blog some time ago.

OK, I've watched "Do Re Mi" 3 times and it still makes me cry. Life is beautiful, isn't it?

I haven't been to a movie theater in 7 years, but I may just have to take a break from the boycott in order to take my daughters to Wild Things.

Oh my word! Me have to do dis. Ain't life grand? Even in a grand central station somewhere in the world. I cried. It made me "mad with joy".
