Introducing...
Maddy has taken some great photos while we've been here, with her own unique perspective and view of this journey. My favorites are a series she did with her doll Emily as the subject.
And so, with her permission, we give you Where's Emily? (a la Where's Waldo?). Or should it be Emily does Antigua or American Girl Doll Abroad or Close Encounters of the Doll Kind? You choose. (Or, better yet, come up with your own and add it in the comments!)

cool photos! what an adventure you're having...
Oh, she's a budding photog in the making! Get that girl a camera!
The best I can come up with is "Well...Helllooooo Dolly"
Lame. I know.
I don't know if it's one of her favorite films, but Maddy's g'mother occasionally watches the Julie Andrews/James Garner film, "The Americanisation of Emily". So, for Maddy's photo shoot how about "The Emilization of America?" I love following your adventure via blog and photos. Love you both.
Dad/G'pa
Very cool photos. Emily has an up and coming career as a model I believe. Or rather Maddy is an up and coming photographer.
Adorable photos, and I LOVE the bright pink dress against all the green. Stunning! I think this photographic saga just might trump the "gnome around the world" one. I second your dad's entry and add: The Central Americanization of Emily. Or should we say Emeliana? Maddy could work the pictures into a book eventually. How about a picture with Emily and a muneca from Guatemala? Such colorful native clothing in Guatemala! They could be pen pals a la Tasha Tudors' doll and Rosabelle, the Queen of Dolls. Remember those tiny books and letters that Tasha did as correspondence between the dolls. I think Rosabelle answered her, too. Adorable, no? Thanks for the wonderful pictures of our darling Maddy and her enduring friend, Emily. Love, Ma/Gma
Oh, and I just love the picture with Emily on the very edge of the architectural shot. It's as if she is being respectful to give the wall and the detail its due. Half an Emily being very polite. Ma
