Summer's last hurrah

In an attempt to wring the very last bit of summer goodness before school starts, yesterday we went to our favorite beach for the first and last time of the season. Where has the summer gone? Any theories?

Have a great weekend and do some summer moment wringing of your own.

p.s. I've finally FINALLY joined the wonderful world of flickr, as you can see from the badge over on the right, and am having great fun loading photos to my account there. Just more productive neglect on my part, since there are many more things on my to-do list that I should be checking off...

I love Crane Beach. Looks so very deserted, too. You must have had the place to yourselves. Divine.

Yes! It was practically empty. Our hint is to go at 3 or 3:30, just when all the morning people are leaving. Then we stay until sunset, my favorite time of day.

I love Crane beach too, haven't been there in a few years, this is why I hate living in land locked Atlanta, the closest beach is HOURS away *sigh*

Well, that was a summer's end treat! Makes me long for the ocean and beach even more. Great shots. Handsome children (of course) and so refreshing to watch. Enjoyed the Guatemala show, too. Those colors just leap out. Thanks for the little virtual getaway. Love, Ma
P.S. How do I order prints from the flickr site?

I know that I have been whining about summer all summer-long...but now that it is almost over I am feeling panicked about all the things we didn't fit in! Congrats on making the beach--you and your kids look like a Land's End spread!
