Show me who you are

If you are a parent of a teenager (or plan on allowing your children to reach their teens), head on over to Letters to a Parent for a wonderful letter on raising teens. I love this concept of parenting: show me who you are. I just might have to tattoo it on my arm or engrave it over our fireplace.

OK. I just read that and I am going to print it off and put it in my future file. I love those ideas. Having our home as the gathering place has been a goal of Nathan and I's since we were married. I am happy to say that is one I am well on my way to doing. We have extra kids over here all the time now. I really want that to continue because when they are teens I do want to really know their friends and have control over what is going on.

THanks for the link!

I second Bridget, a great letter. And as for the gathering place, I think that is why my mom cooked a lot, we always new there would be treats at our house and so did all our friends.
