Back Burner

Hmm. Lots of things have been put on the back burner lately.  Clean floors, for one. Raked leaves, another.  Getting and carving pumpkins (yikes--still to be accomplished), as my kids remind me, is officially later than ever before. Sadly, writing for my own pleasure (including this site here) has been yet another.  I'm fine.  The family's fine.  Louie's fine, except he's taken to barking at the falling leaves. I'll be back soon, when I have something to say and time to say it.  (Somehow the two haven't matched up very well lately.)

no, this is good about the pumpkin. had you carved earlier, they would look like ours.
disgusting, withered, sagging.
procrastinate the pumpkins. let that be your motto, for aesthetic surety.

This week is just the beginning of the most crazy time of year. A lot of stuff is on the back burner these days! Hope things slow down...

What, you mean writing a blog post for me read is not your top priority? For shame.

Just kidding. Sort of.

the back burner runneth over so often -- the floors will keep, like so much else

come back when you come up for air...or when you've been up for air for awhile

I feel the same way. Right now I am putting off homework to read a few blogs. I also have to clean my floors for a baby shower here tomorrow night. I dont' have pumpkins either. Glad to hear its not just me. Oh, and Cole just threw up 10 minutes ago. Yeah, I won't be blogging much either this week.

We have had years where we never got to the pumpkins. This may be another one of those. Luckily my kid carved one at a party last weekend. That counts...right?

I do miss you. But I feel like most things I enjoy are going on the back burner too. sniff. xoxo, m

p.s. I'm trying to look for the good in obama simply because I love you and you can't be THAT wrong. ;)

You do know Stefan is really me? But Stefan is the boy I want to marry into your family... so maybe I'll keep commenting under his name here. ;)
