Fantastic

Around here we've been cooking, eating, playing games, reading, eating, talking, being thankful, and eating some more. (More about all that later.)  Yesterday my sister and I took the kids to the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox, which was a hit with all of us: quirky and funny, both new and old-fashioned at the same time.

Here's a fun view at the making of the movie:

Today: Tuba Christmas (thanks Ellen!), pizza and cannoli in the North End, and watching football.

I hope your weekend has been Fantastic, too.

Ooh! Thanks for the review! We were debating on seeing this one. I think we'll go. :)

I talked Josh, Christie and Brad into this movie after Thanksgiving dinner. (Love Roald Dahl!!) But, y'know...none of us really got into it. I've dragged Christie to two bad movies this month and I don't think she'll ever trust me to pick again.

Oh, Gabi, that's too bad. I don't know, maybe it was the mood we were in but we loved it! We were laughing through the whole thing and the kids were quoting lines all day. So sorry it was a clunker for your crew. Christie will insist on choosing next time :)
