Climbed a mountain & I turned around

Love this.
It's an anthem for many seasons in life
but I'd never heard it sung by children before
& it's a haunting fit.

lots to say here.
let's get the superficial out of the way first:
guitarist = hottie

sorry. it's true.

also, why does my son's school choir sound NOTHING like this? there was harmony, recognizable melody, and no one was rolling their eyes because they were mortified at public performance.

i followed your link, and then a few others, and it seems this performance has created quite a stir. it's one of my all time favorite songs (it was a tunesday a few weeks ago...) but it's a whole different spin when sung by children.

seriously, you always have the best video clips.

BEAUTIFUL.
PS22 has a gifted music teacher who can truly connect.
Loved it. Thanks~

Sitting here SOBBING. That was so beautiful. I love the behind-the-scenes story, too. That is one of my all-time favorite songs. Thanks for the clip that will now occupy A LOT of my time.

BTW, here's hoping whoever you're sending hugs and kisses out to is okay. :-)

I'm crying too. This song is my life and I'm not handling it well at all. Next year when my baby graduates from HS I will be a hot mess. I need a plan and fast. I've got nothin.
