I feel so far away from summer. We're just finishing up our second week of school. This early starting business stinks!

Lovely photos, BTW.

I was just talking to my brother about family reunions yesterday and he asked if I new anywhere 'easterly' where we could meet up. I said upstate New York--he said 'you know any thing about up there'--and I said 'oh yes, my friend is there now and they have had a blast.' And then, thanks to you, I told him all about your fabulous place and sounded like I was very informed--here's hoping that's us next summer!

What glorious adventures you have had. I just LOVE the Adirondacks. So beautiful. I remember watching a black bear there once just eating out of our garbage like he owned the world. And I suppose being that he was a bear, he did!
