All that I know is I'm breathing

Wow. Well, this was not at all what I had expected for June. Someone pushed the fast-forward button and all of the sudden it's the end of June. Whizz, bang, end of June.  An unintended blog break.

Chalk it up to busy end-of-school doings (kids have now been out for all of 5 days), a deadline for a consultation gig, a bit of the blahs, and a fair dose of writer's block (that well was completely empty).  I'm hereby putting my toe back in the water and getting the show back on the road, blogwise.  I've missed this, I've missed you (thank you for your kind emails and messages), I've missed figuring out how I feel/think/see things through throwing my thoughts on the screen.

Thanks for waiting.

And waiting.

(Prepare for the posting onslaught now that the dam has burst.)

So happy you're back. I've missed you.

You forgot the impromptu party you got conned into throwing, plus the people that invaded you from out of town and dumped their kids on you for a whole day. Yeah. Understandable that you haven't been blogging. :-)

Do you know you are one of my favorite people? That sentence doesn't sound right but I'm too tired to fix it. You are though. You make me laugh, I love your wit, I love your writing, and I especially love your movie and music picks. That song pretty much sums up my life right now. Also, I finally got around to watching Bright Star and fell in love. Jane Champion makes such beautiful movies and this was stunning. June has also escaped me. This is our first full week off from school. All I can say is Ahhhhh.....
I'm thinking about making a trip to Lexington and Concord sometime this summer-I'll let you know if I do and maybe we can meet up for ice cream. You do the same if you decide to make a trip up North-stop in for a visit.

I've missed you, but totally understand. I feel like I'm still recovering from our May. eesh.

(And I love that song)
