Quick jaunt

I'm on a quick field trip, down to and back from NYC today to meet my sister, belatedly celebrate her birthday, and attend this:

I got here early so I headed over to Central Park to read and relax in Sheep's Meadow. Maybe with a sauerkraut dog and a disappointingly stale pain au chocolate.

I'll update on twitter now and then (see sidebar>>>) if you want to come along and play vicarious tourist. I'm hoping to drive back tonight so send good stay-awake vibes my way....
