The dreaded revisions

I've been managing to avoid doing revisions on one of my qualifying papers lately but I finally tackled it:

I enjoy doing the old school, post-it note, visual way of organizing revisions for a major paper. The small canvas of the post-it note requires me to boil down my points to concise statements & I love the flexibility of reorganizing the points or color-coding themes. It almost make re-writing feel creative. Almost.

What's your method for writing or re-writing?

I don't know why but I find it hilarious & ironic that you have all this posted on a London Metro map. I am very impressed with your color coded organization and creativity!

My desk looked similar to your "map" when I was looking into online nursing programs. I had them organized by price as well as duration of the program. I liked it because the expensive programs that took several years to get through went on red sticky notes and the less expensive, more accelerated programs were on green stickys. I also had a ton of yellow ones that were right in the middle..As I recall, the program I ended up enrolling in was one of my "yellow ones.":)
