Quick slice of the Big Apple

including:
One new (to me) friend: thanks for joining us for an afternoon, Gabi
Two days of eating/talking/walking {repeated many times}
Three people in a room with one bed
(thanks, Sheraton rollaway bed, for saving the day)
Four bloggers among us: me, Stie, Emily, and Gabi
(we're trying to convert the other 2)
Five nice husbands holding down the forts at home
(with frequent calls and text messages)
Six hours of sleep the first night
(we are overachievers in the chatting department)
~Number of children between the six of us: 24
~Surprise cost of our elegant brunch:
76 dollars per person
[correction: 90 with tip]
{yes, we only found that out after the food was safely
tucked away inside us. shhh. luckily husbands don't read blogs}.
~Number of Avon Breast Cancer Walkers
staying in our hotel: 2 million (or so it seemed)
Plus hundreds of laughs, several fake purses, one great musical (The Drowsy Chaperone), quality people watching, and a refilled tank until next time.
We missed you, though, Bridget!

You must correct yourself: The brunch was actually closer to $90 EACH with the tip. Still worth the view and the company though.
It WAS such a great weekend, wasn't it? I'm so ready for another one. It was so great to see you, see your house, hug a couple of your kids, and share some laughs. I miss my old friend. We'll be doing it again, for sure!
I have been waiting for the posts to come. What a fun time. And 6 hrs of sleep, not bad. I would have expected much worse. Yikes, $76 bucks for brunch. Mums the word with the hubbies. Love the picture of all you lovely ladies. Glad to see Allyson and Sue were there too! They have GOT to get blogs.
What a fun post! Next time I'm coming for brunch...
Thanks to the big blog network, I've found my way here. And I just have to say...GORGEOUS photography. I'm not so good. Yours was all so pretty.
So I've been having a nosy at your archives (yes I have a rare free morning so I'm spending it wasting time looking at blogs of course) and saw this photo of you and your friends - now one of them looks familiar - second to the left with the gorgeous curly hair - she looks just like our stake Primary person who comes to our Primary here in Nashua every now and then. And I think she lives in Mass. Does this sound familiar??? If it is, small small world!
