What's the point?
You know how, when you're learning a language, the teacher asks you all sorts of questions just to give you practice? Maddy said on the walk home last night, "It gets so irritating. My teacher keeps asking me in Spanish 'What's your mother's name?' I keep telling her but she must forget. And if she wants to know your name so much, why doesn't she just ask you?"
Good point, young friend.

Oh, I love how she thinks!
Your trip is sounding fantastic. Every day I'm anxious to check up on how the two of you are doing. Glad to hear it's going well. Maddy is delicious!
Smart girl, very smart girl. Gets that from her mama.
I want some of that delicious-looking drink with that delicious-looking girl. Que linda! Una chica muy amable. Con amor, Mamacita
